"My husband and I and our two older boys (19 and 16) visited CR for the first time Dec 16-23. We had plan to only stay a couple of days and then travel up the coast since my guys are surfers. We ended up staying at Roca Verde the entire trip. The food was wonderful, the staff was welcoming. We felt safe being there and Michael was extremely helpful."
"A fab little hotel and hideaway in beautiful surroundings with own private clean beach. Staff were friendly, super helpful. Comfortable beds & great shower. We dined in their restaurant one evening and the food was great, fresh and well prepared. Highly recommend the tuna steak. Perfect location for exploring Dominical and all the bars & restaurants are minutes away."
"Fabulous bar restaurant location with lovely tropical setting. Rooms were clean, adequate with comfortable beds. Would definitely stay here again to soak in this special region of Costa Rica."
‘The Rock’ (as it is fondly called by the locals) is close to the town of Dominical where you can shop for souvenirs, clothes, rent surf boards, body boards, kayaks and more, There are many restaurants, coffee shops, and pubs so you can sample local fare and sip on some tropical drinks, most with free wi-fi. And if you are a surfer, then head out to catch some world-class waves in front of Tortilla Flats, which is, incidentally, a popular place to ‘catch sunset’ with the locals. Lastly, Roca Verde’s restaurant serves up some of the best dishes in the area and offers live entertainment every Friday.
It is always an adventure here and we are confident it will be unlike anything you’ve experienced before.
